Saving Lives in Africa
Missions are taking place in Africa, with destinations in Congo, Zambia, Sudan, Namibia. Founder Erika "Harika" Avery (1978-2022) was a therapist and mother with a heart for children, and has delivered aid to at risk youth in remote, impoverished African villages. She believed in fellowship adventures and was being assisted by a team of compassionate volunteers, including her husband James, a lawyer with substantial NGO aid program experience, and son Nathan.
Now that Harika has returned to the light, James is often asked what will he and Nathan do now? "We will continue on the path she lead us..." Erika was a true Muslim, who believed in one God and that Muhammad is his messenger. She believed we should strive for equal opportunity for all children, and that education is the path to achieve it.

Committed to Saving the Lives of At Risk Youth of Africa and the World
As the leader of the Sudan Project, which saved the lives of countless Dinka tribesman, women and children in South Sudan, James "Jim" Avery developed a lifelong passion for helping endangered youth, whether they are at risk due to war, famine or poverty. He has personally lead 5 missions to Africa and accounts for the redemption of over 200 slave children, and development of 50 hedge schools in South Sudan, as well as the rebuilding of numerous villages, medical clinics and churches.
As General Counsel of care4children.org, Jim donates his time as a veteran lawyer. Jim believes that children are the very essence of the future. Who they are tomorrow is essentially the outcome of how they are raised and nurtured today. As the leading Children's Welfare advocate in the U.S., Jim goes above and beyond to provide our youth a safe, secure and empowering environment where they can fully embrace their identity and gain all the skills they need to be leaders tomorrow.
James is a member of the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States, as well as the States of New York ('82), Colorado ('83) and Indiana ('03). He is recognized as a Top Lawyer by Newsweek and numerous professional associations, as well as an Albert Marquis Lifetime Member of Who's Who in the World.
